In order to maintain the hut, facilities and equipment in order keep delivering enriching and memorable experiences to the Young People, in line with Scouting and organisational goals.
Most recently the 107th has undertaken various renovation tasks in the hall. These included a new kitchen, toilets and outdoor lighting. All these renovations cost in excess of £20,000, an impossible amount of money for a group like ours to achieve without Fundraising.
There are several plans in motion for future goals for Fundraising.

We have a goal to take the Scout Group on an international Trip to Switzerland in 2024, this is a costly endeavour, therefore any money fundraised will be split amongst the young people in order to make attendance more achievable to those who otherwise may not be able to attend for financial reasons. Just £3000 could reduce the cost of
each young person by £120 each.
We are looking to replace our IT Facilities in the Scout Hall. We have a dedicated room for provision of IT Facilities which has been out of date and in disrepair for a number of years. We have agreed upon a project to restore IT Functionality, which will enable us to bring IT into the programmes, enabling the young people to learn new skills and safe use. This will also enable us to participate in JOTI/JOTA (Jamboree Over The Internet / Jamboree Over The Air).

It’s simple and over time can mount up to a significant sum of support. Please shop through AmazonSmile.

The 107th hosts several events a year, with the goal of raising funds, as well as allowing the local community to be involved with the group. See all of our planned events on the Events Page.
